Lisa Vervueren, MD

Lisa Vervueren is a medical doctor. She studied medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where she graduated in 2018 before starting a medical residency training in plastic surgery. She has since 2020 joined NIHDI (National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance) as internal expert to the commission of drug reimbursement, being amongst others in charge of orphan drugs and oncological drugs assessments.

She is also part of the HTA taskforce of the Beneluxa Initiative. Her main goals are to ensure timely access and affordability of medicines for the patients.
