Anne-Marie Vangsted is Executive Vice Presidents at Statens Serum Institut, a position she has held since 2020. She is in charge of the Danish National Biobank (DNB), Digital Infrastructure and High Capacity Diagnostics including six departments.
During the Covid-19 pandemic Anne-Marie Vangsted has been responsible for building up and running the Community track for PCR testing capacity in Denmark including automatization of processes and digitalization. In total 56 million test have been done in this track since 2020
She has held positions as Director General of the Danish Patient Safety Authority, Executive Vice President of the Danish Health Authority and Senior Director of Division at the Danish Medicines Agency.
