Joakim is the director of Digital health at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) which is the state owned research institute and is the 4th largest institute of its kind in Europe with appr. 3 000 employees. RISE is a unique in its commitment to cross-disciplinary research and innovation. The department of Digital health major interest is healthcare and utilizing healthcare data and together with other partners conduct research and implementing research results. They help organizations with transformation and change management to implement new ways of working that take advantage of digital tools and services. The department of Digital health is involved in 5 year EU-project – Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEF) for health regarding AI and machine learning.
