Nils Olav Refsdal is assistant director general in the Unit for skills, research and innovation in the Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services. He works with issues related to health industry, personalised medicines and biotechnology, health data and biobanks as well as artificial intelligence and research ethics. Refsdal holds an M.A. in political science.
