Lotte Klim, Chairperson, EUPATI Denmark
Lotte Klim is living with type 1 diabetes since 1988 and is highly involved in patient advocacy work.
Lotte is chairperson of EUPATI Denmark, aiming to educate and involve patients in research and development of new medicines in partnerships with academia, pharma and patient organisations.
As board member of the network Type1 Lotte and the rest of the network provide members a broad network of diabetes colleagues, health care providers and scientists who share knowledge and inspiration. The network also brings understanding and experienced knowledge of living with type 1 diabetes to health care providers, pharma and medical suppliers in order to add valuable insights on patients’ needs. Lotte represents people living with type 1 diabetes in the Novo Nordisk Disease Experienced Panel.
Finally Lotte is member of the non-disease specific Patients Involvement Committee at the Capital Region which contributes to the development of public health care services.
Lotte Klim holds a BSc in Public Health and has studied the emerging collaborations between patient organisations and pharmaceutical industry.
