Ramesh Pillai is a Professor at the University of Geneva. His lab is interested in study of germline small RNAs in silencing of transposable elements and the impact of RNA modifications on gene regulation. He obtained his PhD from the University of Bern, Switzerland and did his postdoctoral research at the Friedrich Miescher Institute, Basel, Switzerland. He started his independent career at the EMBL Grenoble site, Grenoble, France.
