Andreas is a Resident Pathologist at the University of Munich (LMU), where he is responsible for the clinical interpretation and further development of molecular tumor diagnostics. He is a data science enthusiast and holds a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Heidelberg and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). Before joining the Institute of Pathology in Munich, Andreas undertook residency training in Medical Oncology at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg and was a staff member of the MASTER precision oncology program.
Andreas’s research is concerned with combining clinical insights with computational and molecular pathology to develop decision support systems for precision cancer medicine.
