One Venue, Two Days, Three Events, a Shared Mission
to Advance Nordic Oncology
26-27 June 2023 | Stockholm
Following the success of the Nordic Precision Medicine Forum we are thrilled to announce the inaugural Nordic Oncology Forum, a multi topic meeting dedicated to advancing the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of cancer in and across the Nordics.
Precision Oncology Forum
Cancer treatments are becoming more targeted as we learn more about the molecular biology of different cancer types through advanced research techniques that are able to link specific biomarkers with either individual or combination therapies. These wonderful developments are leading to better outcomes for patients who have previously not responded to traditional cancer therapies. Yet more targeted therapies also pose new challenges, the Precision Oncology Forum will provide a platform for collaboration, to find a way towards the continued improvement of patient outcomes.
Immuno-Oncology Forum
In recent years immunotherapies have emerged as a new standard of care in the treatment of a wide variety of malignancies. With numerous therapeutic modalities and mechanistic approaches being developed from immune modulation to multi-specific antibodies, to cancer vaccines and cell-based approaches, all empowering the immune system to prevent, control, and eliminate cancer. The Immuno-Oncology Forum will address such promising immunotherapies, how they are performing in the clinic and how they can be combined with precision medicine approaches to further increase the standard of care.
Nordic Pathology Forum
Digital and molecular pathology have now become widespread across the Nordics, which has opened up a huge opportunity for the region to implement advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence-based image analysis and ultra-fast next-generation sequencing. Yet challenges and hurdles still remain for such technologies, not least their development and standardisation, and integration into pathology laboratory workflows. The Nordic Pathology Forum will address such challenges bringing together pathologists, clinicians, bioinformaticians and developers for problem-solving discussions and fruitful collaborations.
Why You Should Join Us in Stockholm
Oncology in the Nordics benefits from access to leading technologies and research, contributing to decreasing cancer cases and improved survival for cancer patients in recent years. Yet many challenges remain, including a difficulty in starting new clinical trials and large collaborative research projects, with significant barriers to individual Nordic countries such as relatively small populations and a lack of funding. Together with researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, patients groups, payers and government, we aim to overcome such barriers and find ways to further advance the research and treatment of cancer.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Nordic Precision Medicine Forum offers a unique environment to make new connections, share ideas and formulate partnerships for future collaboration. We work closely with our sponsors to ensure that your objectives are met by building bespoke marketing solutions. So be it a plenary speaking slot, hosting a roundtable or exhibiting at our forum, we ensure you are in front of the right audience.
